We repair, rebuild and upgrade hovercraft in our workshop in Shelton, Washington, and help buyers and operators choose the right craft for the job.
Repair and refit
Skirts, hulls, drives and full refits.
We build every part of our own craft in house, so we can repair and rebuild them too, along with many Sevtec designs. Our first Explorer 22 TDi came back to the shop in 2023 for a complete refit and now works in Gates of the Arctic National Park.
- Skirts: new skirts, repairs and heat welded urethane wear patches, made in our shop
- Hulls: composite and fiberglass repair
- Engines, drives, lift fans and propellers. We are a Kohler Expert Dealer for Kohler engine service and parts
- Wiring, electronics and navigation installs
- Refits and upgrades, such as cabins, heat and windshields

Consulting
Advice from a hovercraft engineer and operator.
Buying a new or used hovercraft? Talk it through with Bryan Phillips, our engineer and designer. He has more than 2,000 hours at the controls, on expeditions as far as 1,400 miles from Washington to Alaska, and has built hovercraft since 1984, more than 40 years.

- Travel for on site consulting, as far north as Barrow, Alaska

Custom builds
Craft built for one job.
Some jobs need a craft of their own. A few we have built:
Built in 2002 for the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, at work on a tide flat.
A Super Surveyor for a duck hunting client, 2004: 15 by 7.5 ft, 28 hp fuel injected Kohler, variable pitch propeller, 1,050 lb tested payload.
