We have switched our production completely over to the ducted thruster.
Your kit would benefit because galvanizing and powder coating all the metal work that make up the propeller cage is expensive, aggravating and time consuming. The duct will improve the appearance of your craft, give it a lower profile to get under low bridges and limbs, lower weight, and improve performance. Impossible you say!
The duct is actually a 3418 NACA airfoil wrapped in a circle, 3D modeled by computer, fed into a triple axis cutting machine that produced a form we could build
the molds from. The airfoil shape actually produces “lift” in the front section and thrust in the divergent rear section which accounts for the improved performance.
With the same horsepower, a wider blade propeller with a smaller diameter greater performance is achieved versus the open 72" propeller. Don’t try this at home unless money and time are unlimited.

Call for a quote. It can also be picked up at our factory. Attaching to your deck and rudder bar installation are easy to accomplish. The standard duct includes hard points for attachment and netting. The duct has an extremely high gloss, smooth finish for excellent performance and appearance.
